First time ever “Uptown Pitman Beard and Mustache Competition” being held in Ballard Park during the “Uptown Pitman Music and Arts Festival” June 9^th, 2012.

Hey folks on 6/9/2012 the Uptown Pitman Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Uptown Pitman Music & Arts Festival. Included in the activities will be a Beard & Moustache Competition.

This is an all day event. Starting at 8am is the Bob Riccio Memorial Tour de Pitman Bike Race.

Live music starting at Noon will include artists such as The Missing keys, April Mae & the Junebugs, Jersey Cornpickers, Terry Rivel, Jim Six, Wendy Betts & the Rizeing, Pinewolf and the Pack, Ameranouche, The Brownies & many more. Main act of the day will be JOHN EDDIE. So come on out and support your local music scene.

The 6 categories for the Beard & Moustache Competition are as follows:

1. Fake Facial Hair
Open to men, women, & children. Bring your own & be
creative

2. Partial Beard
Any partial beard style, be creative, styling aids allowed

3. Moustache
Grown on upper lip
Styling aid ok
Can freestyle moustache

4. Freestyle Beard
Be creative
Styling aids allowed

5. Full Beard Natural
Natural beard
No style aid on moustache or beard

6. Best of Pitman
Any style facial hair
Resident of Pitman, NJ

Contestants registration $10 each . All spectators free and this is a family friendly event. So please share this with all of your friends and family.
