The Women of Gloucester County Online Magazine hosted Gloucester County’s Most Eligible Bachelor Auction to benefit People for People Foundation on Sunday, May 22, 2011. Twelve bachelors, ranging in age from 22 to 35, vied for this title. Beginning on April 1st and ending May 7th, 2011, people voted for their favorite bachelor at the WOGC’s online site: www.womenofgloucestercounty.com.

When all was said and done, more than 2,300 votes were cast. Our bachelor with the most online votes took the title as Gloucester County Most Eligible Bachelor. He is Chris Tully, a Wenonah resident and a financial analyst with Eagle Wealth Strategies of Woodbury. The bachelor who raised the most money for our benefit is David Smith of Peach Country Tractor and received a gift certificate for a recliner from Robert Starr Furniture in Mullica Hill.
Our participants were a great group of guys who were charity-minded and a lot of fun! They are:

1. Richard Heritage, 25, of Mullica Hill, is director of marketing and sales at Heritage Vineyards and Winery.
2. Dan Crawford, 26, of Mullica Hill, is co-founder of Pulse Fitness Professionals.
3. Jason Gabrieli, 24, from Washington Township and co-founder of HFM Investment Advisors Inc.
4. Brandon McGee, 24, a Washington Township resident, is CEO of Events by GM.
5. Mark Musser, 22, of Mullica Hill, is a student at Drexel University.
6. Michael Jones, 29, of Washington Township, is a much-acclaimed vocalist.
7. Tim Tresch, 24, a West Deptford resident employed at Woodbury Cement Products.
8. Jeff Smith, 28, of Washington Township, is special projects manager at Peach Country Tractor.
9. David Smith, 25, from Washington Township, is a sales manager at Peach Country Tractor.
10. Geoffrey Wade, 34, of Woodbury, owns Outlaw Training and Fitness in Cherry Hill.
11. Chris Tully, 29, from Wenonah, is a certified financial planner with Woodbury-based Eagle Wealth Strategies.
12. Martino Cartier, 35, of Washington Township, owns Martino Cartier Salons in Sewell and Cherry Hill and is the international artistic director for Keratin Complex. His salon has been featured several times on “Tabatha’s Salon Takeover.”

People for People Foundation is a private, non-profit designed to assist normally self-sufficient individuals and families that encounter difficult times through no fault of their own, and need one-time help. Started in 2003, PFPF offers monetary and advocacy assistance to those who may not qualify for help from the government or large charities. Bernadette Blackstock, executive director of the People for People Foundation said, “About 150 people attended the auction and I will just say we exceeded our expectations in money raised for the foundation.”

In just five months, the Women of Gloucester County has helped raise over $16,000 for People for People Foundation, Inc. We are very thrilled that our auction went as well as it did. A GREAT time was had by all.
